Karen Porter
Mrs. Porter has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Ouachita Baptist University and her Master of Music Education from the University of North Texas. She is a Texas Certified Music Specialist and teaches for the Mesquite ISD. Karen is or has been an active member of the MTNA, TMTA, RMTA, TMEA, and TCDA professional organizations. Mrs. Porter has over 30 years of experience teaching piano and saxophone. She is the former accompanist of the Houston Children's Chorus and has been the director of several church children's choirs and handbell choirs. Karen and her husband recently purchased and manage the Rockwall School of Music.
